3D ModellingAll of VMAD's projects are designed on the latest 3D modelling software (ArchiCAD), ensuring the client can view & explore the design as it develops as if the construction of the project were already completed.

ConservationVincent Murray has been involved in the extension & renovation of many protected structures & conservation projects. Working in close consultation with the local authorities conservation officer & clients, every project is carefully assessed to ensure that the integrity & character of these historic buildings is not compromised, & at the same time allowing the building to move into the 21st century with well designed modern interventions that enhance, rather than detract from the original building & its setting. Energy AssessmentsVincent Murray is a Domestic & Non-Domestic BER assessor registered with SEAI. He also has experience in the design of passive houses & is familiar with PHPP software. Using this experience he can ensure that your project is designed to meet & surpass the current stringent regulations for energy efficiency. A building regulations Part L compliance check for third party designs is also provided.

BackgroundVincent Murray, RIAI ArchTech, graduated from WIT, Waterford, with a Diploma in Architectural Technology in 1994, after which he joined Damien Dillon & Co., Architects working on a large range of projects, becoming an associate partner in 1999 & a full partner in the firm in 2004. In 2011, he set up his own practice operating from his home in the beautiful rural setting of Rathgormack, Co. Waterford.
